How it works
Sourcing
We buy at market on the days the fresh lots arrive, and we reject what has already been standing.
Conditioning
We recut stems under water and condition them in clean water with the right solution before they go on display.
Arrangement
We build the arrangement to the occasion, balancing focal flowers, filler and foliage rather than massing one stem type.
Care instructions
We send care instructions with every arrangement, because vase life roughly doubles with a recut and a water change.
Frequent questions
How long should cut flowers last?
It varies by species: chrysanthemums and carnations give two weeks or more, roses around a week, and some garden flowers just a few days. We will tell you which you are buying.
What actually extends vase life?
A fresh diagonal cut, clean water changed every two days, no leaves below the waterline, and keeping them out of direct sun and away from ripening fruit.
Can I order for a specific date and time?
Yes. For dated deliveries we recommend ordering ahead so the stems are bought fresh for that date rather than taken from standing stock.
